Holistic HQ is a thriving and joyful wellness community based on the East Coast of Australia, aiming to provide you with a myriad of beautiful events and services that will support you on your path to good health, a sustainable lifestyle and spirited, happy wellbeing.
We run pop-up Pilates + Yoga events in beautiful spaces, women’s wellness retreats and seasonal workshops, and connect our tribe with our wonderful team of massage therapists, life and career coaches, holistic chefs and nutritionists, and more.
Our blog is a celebration of creative, healthy, and sustainable living. We regularly feature inspirational people in our community (our HQ Muses), delicious, nutritious and simple recipes, and design mini-retreats that you can take yourself on any day of the week in our “A Day In…” features.

BEHIND HOLISTIC HQ:
Victoria Brockfield | PT and Pilates Instructor, Meditation and Reiki
Victoria Brockfield is a qualified Pilates Mat, Reformer, Barre instructor, Personal Trainer, Reiki Practitioner, and meditation teacher. She is also the Director of Holistic HQ, a wellness community hosting retreats and workshops across the East Coast of Australia.
Since falling in love with her practice on the mat, Victoria has been teaching Pilates for almost a decade, with a number of certifications under her belt including a Certificate 4 in Fitness and Pilates via Breathe Education. She is also currently undertaking her Diploma in Clinical Pilates so that she can continue to help people better understand the complex relationships between our bodies and minds.
Victoria loves to encourage both focus and playfulness in class, drawing inspiration from her past pursuits as an INBA Sportsmodel and soccer player. Fifteen years of personal yoga and meditation practice has also greatly influenced the atmosphere she creates, emphasising mindfulness, breath patterns and finding the calm amidst the challenge.
She is a proud Brand Ambassador for Lululemon Athletica, and also works part-time as an Event Coordinator for Breathe Wellbeing, drawing on her decade-long background in marketing, fundraising and events for some of Australia’s most loved charities and not-for-profits.
Victoria teaches Pilates reformer, barre and functional fitness classes at Breathe Wellbeing in Melbourne’s CBD, and Armature Pilates in Brunswick, as well as 1:1 and 2:1 Personal Training sessions throughout the week. Abby is a qualified Nutritionist having just completed her degree in nutrition and psychology, as well as a qualified beauty therapist with an advanced diploma in skin biology/aesthetics.
When completing her beauty diploma, she began to notice the connection between nutrition, cellular health and skin function. She began to understand how inner health affects outer beauty.
True health, both inside and out, is dependent on a holistic balance of good nutrition, managing stress, moderate exercise and having a supportive social community around you.
Abby loved this insight and it’s what led her to study nutrition and psychology at Deakin University. She takes what she has learned in nutrition, psychology and skin biology to help guide people with the best choices for their wellbeing to live at their healthiest, both mentally and physically.
Laura Sides | Retreat Chef
Our HQ Getaway Chef, the super-talented Miss Laura Sides, trained as an apprentice at the Andalusin-inspired Añada in Fitzroy, and has worked in some of Melbourne’s top restaurants as part of the front of house management team: Lucy Liu and Taxi Dining Room in the CBD, and La Luna in Carlton.
Never hugely drawn to the confines of a restaurant kitchen, she craved creativity and being able to do her own thing. The last few years she has worked behind the scenes to create spectacularly healthy treats for Australia’s first Paleo food truck, and is a regular recipe writer and contributor to the That Sugar Film website.
Laura’s joy in life is cooking up and providing healthy, nutritious, seasonal and well sourced food for everyone and anyone who is fortunate enough to know her. She believes that eating well should be easy and accessible, and never a chore nor a privilege.
When she’s not cooking, Laura trains hard with Crossfit Victoria which keeps her grounded and gives her the super-strength she’s renowned for, all whilst surrounded by a wonderful and encouraging Crossfit community.
Stacey Irving | Massage Therapist
During the day, Stacey works in environmental conservation & creative community development (she runs her own charity called Creative Spark – check out their fabulous website). But outside of 9-5, she explores the world of healing the mind, body and soul through massage.
Stacey believes touch and connection have an incredibly powerful impact on our physical and emotional states, relieving muscle tension, soothing pain, improving circulation and even treating certain medical conditions. It also brings about a sense of calm and quiet that is so important in all our lives.
Stacey’s massage style is Swedish (think slow and gentle movements), and treatments will be tailored to your specific needs. Every body deserves a massage, and her aim is to provide an affordable and flexible service that everyone can access. Contact her direct at email@example.com for bookings.
Janelle Kingsley | Yoga Instructor
Janelle Kingsley is a spirited yoga and meditation teacher and writer based in Melbourne. Her exploration of yoga began more than ten years ago whilst studying philosophy at university.
Janelle has taught diverse groups of people, ranging from the Department of Defence, students at La Trobe University, and managers for Lush Cosmetics. Having previously worked at The Yoga Social in Melbourne’s CBD, she can now be found teaching regular classes at White Dog Studio in Footscray. She teaches Hatha and Yin styles of yoga, pranayama, meditation and Yoga Nidra.
With her bubbling energy and downright infectious laugh, it’s hard not to see the brighter side of life when in Janelle’s company.
Alice believes that everyone is at their best when they are doing what they truly care about. Whether it’s in work or life, it’s what sparks you that ultimately fulfills you. In her work as a mentor, facilitator and ICF accredited coach, Alice specialises in strategies for career ruts, career change, finding more purpose and helping people to thrive in their work, businesses and lives.
As well as her one-on-one coaching programs, she supports the community with workshops, events and online resources that help them create the experiences, growth and life they want.
